With it Ram became god and Ravan the villain but Valmiki became immortal for ages to come
The transformation of Ratnakar a docait(robber ), thief into Muni Valmiki and his life is what inspires me more time and again . The story is Ratnakar use to do all bad things in life to feed his family , he never had a second thought on his job or its impact on others . But one day when he asked his wife will she take a share of his sins she refused .She replies him that it is his job to feed and meet all the needs of her and their children , she was never part of his way of income so will never share the burden of sin of him . This is the moment that has laid the foundation for change of the man .
What ever he had done till date was meant for the family and next generation as after death no one will take any thing from this world .
Though these type of lessons are present in the society its moral were never fully used by us else the society we live would had a different taste . When ever I look at any man who is prepared to go to any extent to earn money remind me the dasu Ratnakar who use to live thousand of years ago but his ghosts are still present in the world . Perhaps they have not yet asked their beloved one that simple question .
